Terrell grew up in La Grange and is proud to call Fayette County home. He graduated from La Grange High School, where he was a standout athlete and a proud member of the 2000 3A State Champion football team. Terrell went on to attend Texas State University, earning a degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting.

After graduating, Terrell began his professional career as a loan officer with a local community bank. In 2009, he transitioned into real estate, joining Robert Ruckert with Land Brokers and building a strong foundation in an industry that has been rooted in Fayette County for over fifty years. In 2011, Terrell became a licensed Broker Associate, and in 2015 he became a partner at Land Brokers. In July of 2018, Terrell and his wife Amy purchased Land Brokers and have continued its long-standing legacy of providing exceptional customer service to Fayette County and numerous other counties across Texas.

Terrell is well-versed in all aspects of real estate, including farm and ranch properties, as well as residential, commercial, and investment real estate. He takes great pride in his work with clients and has successfully brokered thousands of transactions totaling hundreds of millions in real estate sales. Highly knowledgeable in the buying and selling process, Terrell works diligently and aggressively to ensure his clients’ expectations are met—and exceeded—always going the extra mile to get a deal done.

In 2015, Terrell expanded his real estate expertise by beginning work as a real estate appraiser with Market Appraisal, Inc., a firm rooted in Washington County for over 30 years. In 2024, after intensive specialized studies, he earned his Certified General Appraiser license, and in 2025 he became the proud owner of Market Appraisal, Inc. Terrell continues to provide exceptional service to his clients, working closely with local banks on real estate loans, assisting estates with step-up valuations, and helping families preserve assets for generations to come.

Terrell is actively involved in his community and holds leadership and volunteer roles with organizations including La Grange Little League, Fayette County 4-H, Rising Stars 4-H Club, and the Evening Lions Club. He is also a member of the Texas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Knights of Columbus, Texas State University Alumni Association, and Lambda Chi Alpha Alumni.

When he’s not working, Terrell enjoys spending time with his wife Amy and their three daughters, Tori, Taylyn, and Teagan.
